Team Testimonials

“I love being part of a vibrant team of women, who bring their own unique perspectives towards addressing this important issue!” -Charu Chaturvedi

“SEHER is the perfect venture for me to combine my love for medicine with social service.”
-Vedant Shukla

“Through SEHER’s advocacy project and legal intervention we aim to engage at both the ground and the administrative level. While the former aims to start a discourse around the female body and works to eradicate the restrictions that prevent women from accessing their basic right to healthcare, dignified living and bodily autonomy. The latter addresses human rights violations of public interest.” -Koshika Krishna

“I have been a part of SEHER since its inception and have contributed significantly in carrying out the data analysis among across various economic groups on menstrual health projects. One of the findings from this research showed that the problem lies not just with the stigma attached to the word “period” itself but also in how women have internalised the practices of exclusion. This is what motivated me to be a part of this project. I love working with our team which is motivated and passionate about creating change." -Mallika Verma

“Menstruation is the most pure and natural process you will find. These women suffer too much trying to hide it. So much that they are ready to live with their menstrual issues than talk about it in the open and have them treated. SEHER advocacy sessions provides them a platform to discuss and address these acute issues which can turn life threatening if not paid heed“ -Harshada Morey

“It bewilders me how much a generation can do. With SEHER I can do what I’ve always wanted to: EMPOWER WOMEN” -Sanskruti Yagnik

“As part of my work with SEHER, I've helped Koshika and the team to think more about engaging with stakeholders outside of their existing networks. My hope is that the mindset of focusing on building bridges and connections to new potential allies will help to broaden SEHER's impact over the long term. Every time I see a SEHER social media post, read the stories, or speak with Koshika - I'm reminded how powerful and inspiring the actions of a small and dedicated few can be to those around them. Keep going SEHER!” -William Leiner

“I have been a part of Seher since it began and have seen it grow and mature with time. It has evolved to encompass wider social issues, contemporary challenges and human rights. I wish Seher a great success in all it’s endeavours.” -Krishna Kumar Maurya
